Bryn Berens, MD

Dr. Bryn Berens strives to keep her patients active. She favors a holistic approach through which she can tailor a care plan to each patient’s specific goals and activity level and account for their tolerances to achieve the best outcome. Dr. Berens postgraduate specialty training at the Mayo Clinic and overseas focused on management of active/athletic knee and shoulder injuries, as well as on shoulder arthroplasty. She performs both arthroscopic and open surgery for joint preservation of the knee and shoulder. Dr. Berens has also served as a Sports Medicine Surgery Fellow in both Australia and New Zealand, as a collegiate Athletic Trainer and as a Campus Emergency Responder. She is a local Tucson product, is approachable and welcomes all questions and conversations about patient care.
