Nathan Sherman, MD, MBA
Dr. Nathan Sherman is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports-related injuries of the knee, shoulder, elbow, hip, and ankle. He is an Arizona native and a 4-time Wildcat, having completed his undergraduate studies, medical school, business school, and orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson. During his Sports Medicine Fellowship at Mass General Brigham in Boston, MA, he trained in minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques and the management of sports-related injuries. His fellowship included specialized training in ligament reconstruction, knee joint preservation, cartilage restoration, realignment procedures, and meniscus repair and replacement, as well as shoulder instability, shoulder replacement, rotator cuff repair, and tendon transfers. Dr. Sherman’s approach to care centers around his patients and their goals. He wants patients to feel welcome and understood, and he seeks a partnership with his patients in achieving the best possible outcome. His philosophy is one of shared decision-making and evidenced-based care, and he truly desires that patients understand their treatment options and take an active role in their recovery. Dr. Sherman’s goal is to help patients return to peak function, so they can continue the sports and activities they love.
