Shaun N. Peterson, MD

A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he finished his military commitment in 2010 and had been in Washington State until his move back to the Southwest! Previously, Dr. Peterson served in leadership roles at his facility including Chief of Surgery, Chair of the Operative and Invasive Interdisciplinary Team as well as all ER Trauma Committees during his tenure. In his own words: “I have one of the most rewarding jobs in medicine. To be able to assist a motivated patient’s natural ability to restore function or reduce pain is truly a wonderful experience. When the normal regenerative or healing functions of the body are inadequate to restore musculoskeletal health, we have at our disposal fantastic surgical and non-surgical solutions that can bring a patient out of pain and into motion and strength. I am fortunate to be supported by great clinical and operative staff to accomplish the goals that the patient and I set to attain.”
